About Us

About Redeemer

  • Rooted in Christ’s Church

Redeemer Presbyterian Church did not begin with us, and its future does not depend on us. We are a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), standing in the stream of Christ's church that reaches back through the Reformation to the apostles themselves. Our desire is not to create something new, but to be faithful to what Christ has entrusted to His church throughout the ages.

  • Our Confessional Standards

Rather than writing our own statement of faith, we gladly receive the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Larger and Shorter Catechisms. These historic standards were produced by the Westminster Assembly in the 1640s through careful study of Scripture and have served Reformed churches for nearly four centuries. We subscribe to them because we believe they faithfully summarize the teaching of God's Word.

  • Historic Faith, Present Welcome

That does not mean we are attached to the past for its own sake. Many at Redeemer are the first in their families to embrace the Reformed faith, and we do not expect those who visit us to know its language or traditions already. Our commitment to historic Christianity grows from the conviction that every generation is called to receive, preserve, and proclaim the faith once delivered to the saints, not to reinvent it.

  • Accountable to the Church

As a congregation of the PCA, Redeemer is accountable to more than itself. Our elders serve under the oversight of our regional presbytery and the broader courts of the church. We believe this accountability is one of God's gifts to His people, helping guard the church's doctrine, worship, and leadership with humility and faithfulness.

  • An Invitation

Whether you have been Reformed for decades or are simply looking for a church where Scripture is preached faithfully and Christ is worshiped reverently, we would be glad to welcome you. We invite you to join us as we gather each Lord's Day to worship the risen Christ and grow together in His grace.
